ASTM International UAE Chapter co-hosts Webinar with ADQCC

The ASTM International UAE Chapter teamed up with the Abu Dhabi Quality Control Council (ADQCC) on this free webinar focused on QCC’s Registration Scheme for Construction Materials and ASTM standards for durability and sustainability of concrete.

QCC’s Conformity & Standardization Services Sector’s Objectives and Services were discussed in detail by Eng. Husain Al Bazzi, a Conformity Assessment Specialist at QCC.  He was joined by ASTM International Chapter member, Eng. Fouad H. Yazbeck, whose presentation covered case studies on large projects in the UAE where ASTM standards were used to enhance the durability and sustainability of concrete, in parallel with the use of performance specifications.
